I lifted weights for almost a year but it was 3 years ago. Am I a beginner or intermediate?

      Hello Alex,

      Thank you for contacting us.

Well – mentally -you have some good knowledge but physically if it’s been 3 years – I would consider myself a beginner and start with lighter weights to allow my joints and muscles to acclimate. Start lighter and see how you feel – if you aren’t too sore – progress to heavier weights.

The most important thing as we age is allowing our joints to ramp up slowly!

Good luck – so happy you are going to strength train!

If you have any other questions, please chat, email, or call Customer Service.

      Sincerely,

      Sarah

Hi I’m not sure which challenge to choose. Strength & Core, I’d definitely take the intermediate challenge. If there’s yoga or barre, I’d do beginner…Help

        Hello Cherie,

        Thank you for contacting us.

It’s hard to know how fit your body is or how strong your core is which is important when tackling any workout. I always tell people to try and modify!
TRY IT! Just be sure to take modifications and options to protect your back until you are strong enough to try harder things. So for instance, plank should be on your knees until you built core strength to be on your toes. Try but be super cautious!

        Good luck!

If you have any other concerns, please contact us at 1-844-278-2050, or chat with us on our site.

        We greatly appreciate your business!
