      Hello Liliana,

Here is a Gold link so you can upgrade at any time! You will need to choose “Returning Customer” at checkout so you can log in first. You might also want to check the “Cart” to see if you have a duplicate offer listed. You can clear that by clicking the red x next to the item you wish to remove. https://go.gethealthyutv.com/C22486

If you need help with that, let us know!

I just discovered… if you have a Mac or iPhone or iPad, No need for Apple TV if you want to use Airplay! I’m able to stream from my Mac to my Samsung Smart TV, no extra device required. Who knew?! Just go to system preferences and set up airplay there, and your Smart TV will detect. Boom!

If you have access to a Chromecast, Roku, or Firestick absolutely! Samsung’s built in web browser isn’t supporting Flash Player any longer, which is used to playback most websites’ videos.

I got this because I thought I could live stream on my tv. As someone else said it only shows a black screen when trying to play a video. I did chat but no help. It is not my internet provider as it works fine for other things. Also my tv is a new Samsung. Not much help at all from tech.

      Hello Leona!

I’m so sorry you’re running into this issue. Per the official Samsung website, “The web browser on your TV is unfortunately not compatible with Adobe Flash Player, which is required to stream video content.” Samsung is not supporting Adobe any longer. To stream the videos, please check out the other ways you may access your workout videos!

Is there any trick to streaming with a Samsung TV? It doesnt have Apple/Amazon/Google/Roku options, and HDMI feels really old school for 2020… an app I can install on the TV or something maybe? Thanks in advance!

      Hello Elizabeth!

Great question! We spoke with Samsung regarding their web browser and they have let us know that they are no longer updating it or using Adobe Flash Player (which is used on most websites for video playback) going forward. Unfortunately we do not have an app that we’ve created with Samsung to place on their TVs at this time.

You could also try screen mirroring from your phone or tablet to your TV, if it is supported.

      Hope this helps!

      Thank you!

Yes you can! This page gives you the option to choose which route you’d like to stream your workouts. If you’re streaming directly from the TV, you just need to ensure your TV has a web browser on it. You’ll want to contact the maker of the TV or Google it for more information about that.

Currently Chris has a variety of videos on her YouTube channel but not all the videos. To access the paid ones, you do have to view them via a streaming service or if you connect your laptop/smart device to your TV via HDMI cord, you can do that as well! Hello Shana!

You definitely don’t need a streaming service. If you have a smart TV, some do come equipped with a web browser built into the TV already. You’d use that to access the videos. To learn more about this, please consult your TVs user manual or Google search your specific TV and see if it has a web browser on it.

On both my Samsung Smart TV and my smart phone Galaxy 7 Edge the videos would not play. After navigating to the page, clicking the desired video, the video play area remained black and no video played. All of the site loaded but the video area remained black and unresponsive. (almost like in the old days when your “video player” needed installed!)

The article above states, “Viewing the workouts on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop is pretty self-explanatory.” It really isn’t. LOL I play tons of videos, apps ect on my devices, I am very tech savvy, designed and maintained numerous websites-this is the first I’ve run into with this issue. I solved it myself so I thought I’d post the answer that so many other posters seems to seek but the “tech” response sends them into a loop that doesn’t help AT ALL.

On both your smart tv and your smart phone once you navigate to the video (a bit difficult on smart tvs as the search field on every page doesn’t work-which with my coding experience would lead me to believe the site designer has overlooked programming responsiveness into the site which is their problem!!)

Once you find the video on whichever smart device doesn’t work-look up in right hand corner-there are three horizontal lines. Click that and a small drop down will open. Look for a box to check that says “Display As A Desktop Site”. Once you click that your video will be able to play.

On my Samsung Smart TV I had to do this each time I navigated to a new video-my phone retained the setting.

I am not sure why the tech support doesn’t want to really help or if they just don’t know. I can tell you steaming from an HDMI cable is so 2010 it’s a joke. I hope the developers REALLY take a look at their site design and invest in making it truly responsive-if so it will be a long term subscription for me. If not-emmm not sure I’d stay around for full price and deal with navigation issues and old school loading problems.

I can tell you the videos I’ve done so far I’ve liked and enjoyed. I purchased this over Black Friday so the price was very good for the year which I justified spending hours trying to determine how to stream videos on my Galaxy 7 Edge and my Samsung smart TV. As you can tell by this “tech discussion” the site is very vague and really no help at all and for me didn’t have phone support hours available I needed.

I will continue to use the difficult setup with navigation due to the price. If I had paid full price I’d ask for a refund. I like to think within a year they’ll hire a site designer who can make their site truly responsive, correct their navigation search function (or lack of) on smart devices. If not once my discount period is over I’d probably look for a better/more up to date technology site then this.

Hope this helps all of you trying to get help being linked back to this article that doesn’t really help the problem.

    ANYTIME,

Hi Elizabeth. Here are a few things you can try.
Confirm that your device is connected to a wireless network. Check the status of your wireless connection. If your device is not connected to a wireless network, you cannot access or browse the Internet with the Silk Browser.
Ensure that parental controls are off. If parental controls are turned on, some apps may be restricted. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap More, and then tap Parental Controls. If parental controls are On, tap Off and then enter your parental controls password (this is different than your lock screen password or PIN).
      Issue:
Silk Browser won’t open or crashes.
Suggestion: clear the cache and cookies.
Open Silk Browser, then swipe from the left-hand side and select History.
      Tap on the Trash icon.
Select Cookies and site data, and Cached images and files. Make sure everything else is not selected.
      Tap Clear Data.
Next, swipe from the left-hand side again, and tap Settings.
      Tap Advanced, then Site Settings.
Make sure the following are selected:
      Cookies: Allowed
      Location: Blocked
      Camera: Ask first

To stream GHUTV videos with your Roku device, you first have to install the Video & TV Cast app on your phone from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
      1. First make sure your Roku Box is connected to your television with an HDMI cable.
      2. Then, on your Video & TV Cast app, select the video you would like to stream to your television.
      3. After selecting the video, click the cast icon (located to the right of the address bar) to display it to your television.
      4. Start your video, and click on full screen mode to make the video larger on your TV.
Now you’re ready to work out!

      Thanks,

The problem I have with YOUR site (as oposed to YouTube videos) is that I have to keep logging back into GetHealthyU while trying to set up the airplay, which usually means Ii have to start all over with the Program search and at some point, have to log-in AGAIN! No matter what device I’m on (even if NOT trying to stream Air-Play) the site doesn’t recognize me from one visit to the next. (Yes, I check “Remember me” when logging in).

      Hi Anita,

Unfortunately, we do not stream through Roku as of right now. We do have multiple other ways to stream, these options are located on the Frequently Asked question page under ‘How can I view Get Healthy U TV videos on my television?’ You can use your Smart TV with an HDMI cable, Chromecast devices, Firesticks, and AirPlay on Apple TVs. We are looking into other options such as Roku and apps. for the future.

      Hi Irene,

Unfortunately, we do not have that available through Roku yet. However, I have included some other ways that may help below:

You will need a smart TV that can access the Internet directly. Connecting your computer (desktop, laptop) to your TV via HDMI cable if HDMI connector ports are available. Apple TV and Chromecast devices can also play Get Healthy U TV videos on your television. Get Healthy U TV videos can be viewed on your television using Apple TV (2nd, 3rd or 4th generation). You’ll need to set up and enable the AirPlay mirroring function on your Apple TV as well as your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices connected on the same high-speed Wi-Fi network. You can follow this link – https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204289 – for instructions from Apple support on how to setup and enable AirPlay. Chromecast will also allow you to watch Get Healthy U TV video on your television from your computers running the Chrome web browser. Please click on the Chromecast support link below to learn how.

It should work just like google chromecast but on supported devices
You can mirror your display on most phones or tablets that support Miracast. Some of these devices include:

      · Fire HDX tablets
      · Fire HD 8 (5th Generation)

Hi Martilla, Here are some sound troubleshooting things you can try.
Check your sound settings by going to your Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound. Make sure none of the devices, or applications are on mute.
        2. Be sure you do not have the volume on our site muted. The volume can be adjusted on the site using the volume button with in the lower left hand corner of the video.
        4. If possible, try signing on to another device and attempt viewing the video. This will help us determine if the issue is with our website or specific to your device.
If you are still having trouble with the sound please give our customer service team a call at 1-844-278-2050.
        Thanks

I am streaming through my Firestick. However I’m not getting the entire menu/homepage like when I see it on my phone or computer. Some of the tabs are missing, for instance there is no “calendar “ tab. Is that the way it is through the Firestick?

      Reply
      • Customer Service

        Hello Mary Ann,

Yes, the Firestick display will be a little different. You may need to use the Search Bar a bit more to locate specific videos. Calendars are not displayed as a tab option – you’ll want to look for the specific workout.
