I have problems to get down deep enough and if I manage I have the feeling my muscles get hard. Any tips how to improve, maybe preparation exercises before or workouts that are helping me to improve?

Hi, I'm Chris Freytag. Let's talk about squats today. So squats are one of the best ways to firm and tone your backside. But, proper form is everything. Good form, good results. So let me give you some tips so you can be successful with your squats. First of all, you want to stand with your feet about hip width or a little wider. Then you want to sit back as if you're sitting into an imaginary chair. Put your weight into your heels. Sit back now, as you sit back, you want those knees to track approximately over the top of the toes. You want to keep your chest lifted, eyes forward. So you want to make sure you don't dump your head down. And ultimately, what you really want to do is think about the same angle from ankle to knee, as hip to head. So you're uplifted. You want to keep those abs tight and then squeeze back up. Make sure you're working your glutes all the way down into that imaginary chair, all the way back up, abs tight, chest and heart lifted, eyes up. And this is the way to do a successful squat. Give it a try on your own and lift and firm that backside.
