What is Pyramid Power?
Power up and stay strong with this Pyramid Power Premium 2 workout that will build total body strength and get your heart pumping! In this 45-minute interval-based workout we will do seven rounds of cardio and strength drills, starting with one exercise for the first round. Each movement will be done for a total of 30 seconds, then we’ll add a new exercise for each consecutive round before working our way up to the top of the pyramid with seven total exercises. This pyramid power workout is one of our favorite styles at Get Healthy U TV because it’s challenging, it’s effective, it sneaks up on you, and most importantly, you get to have fun while working out!
Pyramid Power Premium 2
Pyramid Power Premium 2 is an interval-based workout involving periods of intense work followed by periods of rest. Throughout the “working” periods you will be challenged with total body movements that will increase your heart rate and also focus on muscle strength using a set of medium to heavy dumbbells.
Throughout this pyramid workout, you will notice that the work to rest ratio changes. While the working interval gets longer over time, there is one thing that will always remain constant, and that is the resting interval. The resting interval will be constant at 30 seconds each round. So while the first few rounds those 30 seconds feel long, you will notice that as you climb the pyramid the rest interval will feel shorter. So remember, take the 30 seconds rest you are given because you will need it over time!
While this workout will push your limits, Chris Freytag, Sam Cameranesi and Tara Putz will be right alongside of you every step of the way. Chris will motivate you and teach you proper form throughout each movement! Pay attention to your form and always listen to your body!
