A simple option for streaming online content to your home television is to use an HDMI cable. To do this, you will need a modern TV that can support HDMI, a laptop that can support HDMI, and an HDMI cable. It’s important to note that a lot of laptops—from Apple’s Macbooks to Microsoft’s Surface Pro Convertibles—have a mini display port instead of an HDMI port. If your laptop has this type of port, you’ll just need to purchase a mini display port to HDMI adapter cable. There are some great, cheap options anywhere electronics are sold. These will connect a laptop, TV, or other displays to an HDMI port. Be sure to check exactly what type of port your laptop has before purchasing such an adapter.

Once you have what you need, the rest is really simple! Plug one end into the HDMI port on the back of your TV and the other end into your HDMI port on your laptop or desktop. Switch the TV to the necessary input and that’s it! You’re ready to stream your favorite workouts at home whenever you like.
