Split Strength Training Calendar (Includes GOLD Workouts)

Created August 2021

Most of our calendars at Get Healthy U TV are split up between cardio, cardio & strength, strength, yoga, and other types of workouts mixed throughout each week. This calendar is going to look slightly different in that we are going to split the body into different muscle groups and focus on split strength training.

Split Strength Training is a type of weight training that divides workouts by body regions – usually upper body, lower body, and core. Training this way allows time for an intense workout of a certain body type working that muscle to fatigue. The next day should then be focused on a completely separate muscle group, allowing time for muscles to break down and repair.

In this calendar, you will see all of our current split strength training sessions, plus a few extra workouts thrown in to make sure you are getting your cardio training in throughout the weeks as well. Each split strength training day will show up twice throughout the month, providing you with an opportunity to see how your strength has improved overtime. We suggest making sure that you are taking advantage of the cardio days where we have thrown in some of our favorite kickboxing or athletic cardio workouts to take a break from the weights for a day. On top of the cardio workouts, you will also find some core strength days and of course your ADORS (active days of rest) in which we also give suggestions for yoga sessions if you are really looking to move your body in a less intense way!

Whether your goal is to start strength training or you’re looking to pick up the heavy weights this month, this calendar helps you to separate the body into different parts! We challenge you throughout this month-long calendar to work muscles to fatigue!! Pick up your weights and let’s get stronger together!

All exercises you perform are your own responsibility and you perform them at your own risk. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider before starting any physical exercise, fitness, or wellness regiments of any kind.
