Some of our favorite type of workouts are circuits and intervals, and for good reason—they work! When you combine strength and cardio into the same workout, you get your heart rate up, burn calories, and strengthen your muscles all at once. They are fun and super effective! If you already completed Circuits & Intervals 1, we know you’ll love this Circuits & Intervals 2 calendar.
Interval training comprises of short bouts of exercise. Throughout this workout, you will go as hard as you can for a movement, rest briefly to allow your body just enough time to recover, and then you will start to exercise again. Circuit training is when you string a group of movements together for a longer period of time.
This Circuits and Interval Calendar is comprised of workouts from our Premium and GOLD videos. While it is great to train with these types of workouts, we also want you to remember that it’s good to take a day or two off. Each week you will have two days of ADOR (Active Day of Rest). These are days for you to move your body in a less intense way doing what you enjoy doing. The other five days of the week on this calendar are pretty intense, so use these two days to stretch, or walk, or just do something light. Also feel free to change up the workouts and move your ADOR days around to meet your schedule.
This 28-Day Calendar is going to challenge all your muscles and the wonderful trainers will give you modifications to make each workout successful for you! These workouts will blast your heart rate, work your muscles, and leave you feeling strong and accomplished!
