If you like a little longer warm-up and cool-down, this format is for you. Trainer Sam Cam does not disappoint with a balance-training workout combined with a solid warm-up and cool-down. Sam starts with approximately 8 minutes of warm-up, follows with 20 minutes of focused balance training, and ends with an effective 15-minute stretching session.

Balance training promotes stable knees, ankles, hips, and shoulders. Sam will work with your whole body using bodyweight strength, some yoga poses, and one-legged balance. Balance work is useful and necessary for aging gracefully. It helps to prevent falls and reduces your risk of injuries because you will become better at proprioception—being aware of your body in space. The goal of balance training is to make your athletic endeavors and every day activities feel better. The longer warm-up really allows your joints and muscles to acclimate. The final active stretch will help you with strength and flexibility.
