HIIT training uses short, intense bursts of energy push your heart rate and lungs to the max for more calorie burn and a more effective change. The best part about it, other than the amazing benefits of course, is that you get so much done in such a short time that your workouts can be short but extremely effective. Instead of spending hours on the elliptical or treadmill, check out these HIIT workouts for a more fun and expedient way to get the job done in just 30 minutes!
This HIIT it Hard series gives you two great HIIT workouts to do right at home. Join trainers Jodi Sussner and Lindsey Bomgren as they take you through these amazing challenges called HIIT Core Burner and HIIT Mega Muscles.
HIIT Core Burner focuses on interval training and strengthening your core by using a combination of cardio and core moves all done in Tabata intervals of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off. For the 20 seconds you are on, the goal is to work as hard as you can. Then you get a 10 second break before the next interval comes.
HIIT Mega Muscles uses the same training style but focuses on cardio and full body muscle exercises to strengthen the entire body! Of course, these fabulous trainers will give you all the options you need to make this successful specifically for you. Need low impact? They’ll show you. Want to pump it out hard? They got you!
